Three events in as many weeks. The arrival of Bristol Blenheim to Bicester Flywheel got postponed till Sunday because of the really poor weather so I never got to see it. Otherwise the event proved to be less rewarding than their Sunday Scrumbles where one gets a chance to wonder around the site and enjoy a very varies selection on cars. Festival of Speed was the usual self, i.e. a bewildering selection of machines, crowds and mad rush to be in the right place at the right time. This year, it was exactly the opposite for me. Then it all clicked at Pendine last weekend. The weather was ideal, the hot rods did come out by the water in the end of day like I suspected they would. There were noticeably more people and I think also participants present, so it will be interesting to see how the will develop in the future. At the moment it’s a breath of fresh air.
